NEW
Da Nang or Danang dated to the early 14th century when the area was settled small collection hamlets in central Vietnam. In 1954 with the division of Vietnam into the North and South, Danang became part of South Vietnam, and in 1965 was the location of the first landing of US forces in Vietnam and aptly coined “China Beach.” Nowadays, the area is home to one of Asia’s best beaches, many world-class resorts, and Vietnam’s best golf courses. For example, Ba Na Hills Golf Club and the BRG Danang Golf Resort are ranked continuously among Asia’s leading golf clubs. It is no surprise then that some refer to this area as the Vietnam Golf Coast.
Hoi An, with its lovely wooden shop-homes, was set up in the 16th century. It was revived in the 20th century to commemorate the long history of Vietnamese international trade. Wandering through its protected old town is like being transported back to a time when Hoi An was Vietnam’s most important trading port. For those looking a glimpse of the real Vietnam, or just a fun night out, Hoi An mixes old world charm with modern and vibrant nightlife. Hoiana Shores Golf Club is Vietnam’s first Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed course and is located 15 minutes from Hoi An’s center.
Hue has gone through seven centuries of development. In 1802, Hue became Vietnam’s capital when the first King of the Nguyen dynasty, chose the location for the Imperial City. Hue remained Vietnam’s capital until 1945, when Bao Dai, the last of the Nguyen emperors, moved the Imperial City to its present location in Hanoi. Nowadays you can find a world-class Vietnam golf course halfway between Danang and Hue, Laguna Lang Co Golf Club.
Enjoy a golf holiday in Danang and play the best golf courses in Vietnam.

Danang offers so many exciting activities and tourist attractions that you can choose, whether you’re a history buff or nature-lover, the city can. The city can please many tourists of all ages. Here is Inspitrip’s list of top things to do in Danang.
1. Enjoy the special show on Dragon Bridge
Opened to traffic in 2013, the Dragon Bridge modeled after the dragon is one of the bridges that cross the Han River and connect Danang International Airport to other important roads in the city. The bridge is 666m long, 37.5m wide and has six lanes for traffic. The dragon itself offers a special performance every weekend and during festival times that attract both locals and foreigners! It’s the best to visit the bridge in the evening because of the many colorful LED lights that illuminate the bridge, also there are lots of bars and restaurants that overlook the Dragon Bridge that serve tourists at any time of day.
2. Climb the Marble Mountains
The Marble Mountains is the symbol of Danang city and is a cluster of five marble and limestone hills located in the Ngũ Hành Sơn District, south of Danang city. The five mountains are a complex of 5 mountains that are named based on five elements: Kim (metal), Moc (wood), Thuy (water), Hoa (fire) and Tho (earth). Mount Thuy is the highest and most beautiful, and there’s even a path to go to the top of Mount Thuy. The Marble Mountains are a must-visit with amazing landscapes and various architectural and historical buildings.
All of the mountains consist of cave entrances and a network of tunnels that tourists can explore. The mountains also have lots of Buddhist sanctuaries that can be found just by strolling around. Located at the foot of the Marble Mountains, My Nghe Non Nuoc is a traditional stone sculpture village where you’ll get to see local craftsman making stone sculptures and handicraft products. We recommend booking a trekking Marble mountains trekking tour, with a local guide so you can enjoy the best of it.
3. Have a fun day at Ba Na Hills
Ba Na Hills is one of the top-notch attractions that every tourist should visit in their lifetime. People from the city come to this magnificent destination to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful scenery. Ba Na is 1,487 m above sea level in the Truong Son Mountains west of Danang, with an average temperature of just about 18-Celsius degrees, it can be seen as the SaPa of central Vietnam. Tourists can visit the Ba Na Hills via the cable car systems that have also set two Guinness World Records for their height and length.
At the summit of the Ba Na Hills, you will find spectacular vistas that stretch as far as the eye can see, and you can even take a cable car to the top if you are feeling lazy. There are so many must-see things in Ba Na but one of the main highlight attractions is the Golden Bridge. The bridge is supported by giant hands, contrary to the elegance of the bridge. The yellow color of this bridge is more prominent and displays a stark contrast between the forest and the giant hands. From the bridge, you can have a look at the magnificent landscape surrounded by clouds and mountains. You can take our Ba Na Hills and Da Nang City private tour with a tailor-made itinerary and lunch included.
4. Visit Linh Ung Pagoda on Son Tra Peninsula
There are three pagodas named Linh Ung in Da Nang in which the Linh Ung pagoda in Bai But, Son Tra peninsula is the biggest and the most beautiful of the three. Linh Ung is the perfect example of a Vietnamese pagoda; built with many traditional features and represents an atmosphere of perfect harmony. The path to the main chamber of the pagoda consists of 18 Arhats statues, each depicting various human emotions. It takes time for tourists to fully explore the pagoda.
The main highlight of the pagoda is the famous Lady Buddha statue. The statue is situated on an area of about 20 hectares on the side of a mountain, looking to the sea while leaning on the Son Tra Peninsula. The Lady Buddha statue stands on a perfect position of the Son Tra peninsula that visitors can see it from nearly every corner of Danang. It is the highest statue in Vietnam, measuring 67 meters in height and 35 meters in diameter at its base. Even though it is a religious place, the pagoda remains itself one of the most visited attractions in the city of Danang.
5. Laze around on the My Khe Beach
My Khe Beach is just 5 km from the center of Da Nang. The beach is regarded as “one of the most attractive beaches on the planet” by Forbes Magazine. The reason is that it is located in a perfect position close to the city with many beautiful landscapes and tourism services. Walking on the beach, tourists will bear witness to the combination of clear skies, silky white sand, and palm trees of My Khe. Not only does the blue water of My Khe help you relax, it also contains lots of challenging sea activities that can be booked on the spot, including water skiing, wakeboarding, jet skiing, windsurfing, and kayaking.
6. Discover lively street art: Tam Thanh Mural Village
Tam Thanh was just a poor normal fishing village back then, and now the village has become the hidden gem of tourist attractions of Vietnam. The village is an hour drive from the south of Hoi An. A program has been established with the mission statement “Art for a better community” in 2016, where a group of artists composed of both Korean and Vietnamese created various paintings over 100 murals. Thanks to this joint Vietnamese-Korean collaboration, Tam Thanh fishing village has transformed into a full-fledged tourist destination.
Many tourists can experience the combination of natural beauty and lively street art in the various paintings around the village. Not only are the paintings really great in terms of quality, but they also have a great impact on many locals living in the village. Which was the reason why the program chose Tam Thanh in the first place: to raise the living conditions of the village. Visiting the village, tourists are now not only able to see the impressive murals, but also create more income for the locals living in the village.
7. Travel back in time in the My Son Sanctuary
My Son Sanctuary is a temple complex, built between the 4th and the 14th centuries AD. The place consists of many ruined Hindu temples and tombs. My Son is surrounded by two mountains range, located near the village of Duy Phu, 69 km southwest of Da Nang. There are over 70 temples at the sanctuary, spanning about two kilometers in width. My Son Sanctuary is known as one of the most amazing Hindu temple complexes in Southeast Asia and one of the most important heritage sites in Vietnam

GOLF LIST:
BRG Da Nang Golf Resort
BRG Da Nang Golf Resort (Danang Golf Club), Norman Course opened in 2010 and immediately leaped to fame being recognized as one of the 15 best new courses in the world by USA GOLF magazine. Da Nang Golf Resort has achieved many awards, amongst them 2011, 2012, 2013 best golf course in Asia by the readers of Asian Golf Monthly as well as the 2012 Best Golf Course in Vietnam by USA Golf Digest and the 2014 IAGTO Diamond Award.
The Norman-designed Dunes Course uses the sandy loam soil of Danang Beach, a place with more history than golf. The Vietnam golf club is located directly on the beach that the American's used for their first landing and adjacent to the American's central supply depot and airfield used during the conflict of the 1960s. Here on Vietnam's central coast, one finds a seaside landscape almost identical to the land of the world's first courses. The links-style golf experience was crafted as much by Mother Nature as it was by any golf architect.
This Danang golf course is a unique golf challenge that every golfer will enjoy. Fairways are generous, and there is restrained use of water and no out-of-bounds. Sculpted bunkering, shaped putting greens, and abundant natural waste areas have been cut directly from the surrounding dunes. Scoring well requires carefully placed shots to give players a chance to go for the pins on the undulating greens. The fairways are also lined and well defined by long needle pines, so miss into the trees, and it's a forced punch off the sand and pine needles along a safe line to get back into play.
Laguna Lang Co Golf Club
Laguna Lang Co Golf Club in central Vietnam near Lang Co Bay and a 3-kilometer beach in the Chan May region of Central Vietnam, an area renowned for its pristine coastline, natural scenery and proximity to UNESCO World Heritage sites. The site located between the ancient city of Hue 30 kilometers to the North and Danang 35 kilometers to the South.
This par-71 golf course was designed by six-time Major winner Sir Nick Faldo. The most experienced players and beginners alike enjoy golf at Lang Co. The course presents a variety of tees for players of all levels measuring 6,958 yards from the championship tees and a friendly 5,263 yards from the front tees.
The Laguna Lang Co site nestled between a backdrop of undulating mountains and beach front. A calming sea breeze wafts across the course, which offers ocean views and an amphitheater-like mountainous backdrop.
In keeping with its links-like characteristics, the Lang Co layout also offers a traditional out-and-back routing. The course takes excellent advantage of the variety of existing environments with golf weaving between trees, over rice paddy fields and streams, through impressive rock features and alongside the beach. The course weaves between trees, natural streams, over rice paddies and through impressive rock features.
Each hole on the course reveals a character of its own, presenting golfers a myriad of opportunities for exciting and memorable play. The par-3 5th stands out as the signature hole. Incorporating large mounds around the green that mirror a mountain peak in the background, it is the only hole with any obvious human-made influence. The par-5 finishing hole is an excellent dog-leg that is sure to excite – and settle many bets along the way to a great round.
