ITINERARY:
DAY 1 - ARRIVAL IN YOGYAKARTA - LOSARI MAGELANG
Upon arrival at Adisucipto International Airport in Yogyakarta, meet with the local guide and receive private transportation to the hotel in Losari, Central Java, for lunch and check-in.
Recommended flights: Silk Air from Singapore to Yogyakarta on MI152 arriving at 09:30 on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays
Note: Check in time at 14:00.
Spend the remainder of the day at leisure.
Note: The Mesastila Resort and Spa has an excellent spa with Hamam and a beautiful pool overlooking the surrounding plantations and volcanos. Apart from typical Javanese specialties, the resort’s restaurant have a lot of healthy choices on the menu (not included, spa treatment included on the following day).

DAY 2 - LOSARI - AMBARAWA RAILWAY MUSEUM - LOSARI
Head out on an excursion in the morning to Ambarawa railway museum. During the Dutch colonial government, King Willem I ordered the construction of the new railway station in 1873. Originally planned as transshipment point between the 4 ft. 8 1⁄2 in. (1,435 mm) gauge locomotives from Kedungjati to the northeast and the 3 ft 6 in (1,067 mm) gauge line onward towards Yogyakarta via Magelang to the south, it is still visible that the two sides of the station were built to accommodate different size trains. The museum features 21 steam locomotives, or which four are operational. Other collections include old telephones, Morse telegraphs, bells and signals equipment, and some antique furniture.

After the visit, return back to the Mesa Stila Plantation for lunch.
This afternoon, enjoy a walking tour of the local plantation. The guide will explain all that’s needed to be known about the organic robusta and arabica coffee grown on the property. At the coffee shed, witness traditional techniques of roasting and grinding beans. Then stop to for a tasting session of coffee.
Enjoy a relaxing massage following the oriental hammam inside the dome of MesStila Spa to relax muscles, and refresh body and soul.

DAY 3 - SELOGRIYO - GOLF BOROBUDUR - BOROBUDUR
Be picked up from the hotel and drive to a small village on the slopes of Mt Sumbing. Start a light trek through rice fields and plantations, see the local villagers working their crops or processing charcoal. Take a 2-hour easy walk to the modest but beautiful Selogriyo temple.

Next stop is a visit to the OHD Museum for contemporary arts in Magelang, one of the best (private) collections in the country.

Continue to Borobudur International Golf and Country Club to tee off on an 18-hole course over the slopes of Mount Tidar surrounded by the hilly landscapes of Central Java as a backdrop.
Borobudur International Golf & Country Club was built in 1987 as a simple golf course of 9 holes. PT Padang Golf Cikarang, a subsidiary of nationwide developer giant, PT Jababeka Tbk. (now Jababeka & Co.), took over the course management in August 2006. A painstaking renovation was immediately taken place.
The world-class golfer, Douglas Duncanson, was invited to redesign the course. His elegant design was then worked out by golf course building experts of PT Jababeka Tbk (now Jababeka & Co.). The result is what we can see today: an elegant, eco-friendly and international standard golf course with beautiful mountainous view as its nature backdrop
Its other unique attraction includes the world heritage Borobudur Temple which is only 30 minutes away. The backroad drive from this biggest Budhist temple on earth will pass through the virgin area of rural Java, a worthy experience to catch a glimpse of Javanese civilization.
After the session, continue to the hotel with views of the majestic Borobudur temple for check-in. The rest of the afternoon is spent at leisure.

DAY 4 - BOROBUDUR TEMPLE - GOLF MERAPI - YOGYAKARTA
Rise before dawn for an unforgettable visit to Borobudur for sunrise -the most mystical time to view this incredible UNESCO World Heritage site. Before the crowds arrive, explore this massive Buddhist Temple- the largest in the world- and discover the incredible history behind its construction. Comprised of thousands of volcanic and river stone blocks, the temple was assembled entirely by human labour and took more than 75 years to complete. As the sun rises behind the distant volcanoes, watch as the temple comes aglow with brilliant golden light. The silhouette of dozens of small stupas along the terraced platforms of the temple make for one of Asia’s most spectacularly photogenic settings.

After lunch, be transferred to the slopes of Mount Mepari in the outskirts of Yogyakarta. A new challenge is awaiting at Merapi Golf Course.

After playing golf, continue on the road to Yogyakarta for check-in at the hotel. Despite the official spelling of ‘Yogyakarta’ this town is usually pronounced and written ‘Jogjakarta’ or simply ‘Jogja’, for short. It is the most popular tourist destination on Java, largely thanks to its proximity to the temples of Borobudur and Prambanan. Jogja is a centre of art and education and considered to be the cradle of traditional Javanese culture.

DAY 5 - YOGYAKARTA
After breakfast, head out to explore the unique culture of Yogyakarta. Start with a visit to Sonobudoyo Museum. Focusing on Javanese culture, the museum features exhibits of artefacts such as hand-crafted weapons, wooden wayang puppets, masks and old Javanese gamelan instruments. Next, visit The Sultan’s Palace, also known as Kraton, it’s central to Javanese cosmology, and considered to be at the centre of the Mt Merapi and Parangtritis Beach. This building, constructed between 1756 and 1790, is a fine example of traditional Javanese sultanate architecture. This living museum, which is still home to Java’s sultan, features a showcase of Javanese culture and relics.
Go on a short becak ride to the Taman Sari Water Palace. This addition to the royal complex was built over 200 years ago by the first Sultan, with picturesque bathing pools for his harem. Afterwards visit a home batik factory, followed by a short demonstration of Wayang Kulit, the famous Javanese leather puppet

Continue to the outskirts of Yogyakarta and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the ancient Hindu temples at Prambanan, located 17 kilometres from Yogyakarta. Built in the 9th century, this UNESCO-recognised collection of sharp, jagged temples features three main inner shrines dedicated to the Hindu trinity: Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. The guide will explain the history and symbolism of the temples during the tour.

DAY 6 - YOGYAKARTA - DEPARTURE
Transfer to Yogyakarta Airport, after breakfast in the morning, in time for an onward flight.

- Our rates are net and quoted in American dollars (USD), however some services (like transportation, guide fees, entrance fees, some activities, meals, air tickets and train tickets and sometimes accommodations) are based on local prices in Indonesian Rupiah in (IDR). In the case of a major change in the exchange rate (5% or more) between the Indonesian Rupiah and the American dollar (USD), we reserve the right to correct our quotes to align our rates and revise the value of the American dollar (USD).
- All rates are based on the current gasoline price. Should the gasoline price increase by more than 10% we would readjust transfer rates with a 30 days prior notice.
- Compulsory gala dinners and special conditions may be applied during high season. Rates and details will be informed in advance.
- Road conditions in Indonesia are not always very good and this can cause slow driving times. As a general rule we calculate 30 km = 1 hour driving. This can be even less when traveling in very remote areas and jungles with 4WD jeeps. Also some islands are very populated which during public holidays and long weekends, and this could causing traffic problems that will affect your journey time considerably.

1. Deposits & Payment Policy:
- A deposit of 25% of the total of the tour is required upon confirmation of booking tour. You have peace of mind until 2 months before departure dates. At that point, we would require full prepayment only 60 days before departure for all services by money transfer or credit card payment with all bank transfer charges/ fees to be paid by the client.
- All the tour packages on this website operate on a pre-payment basis. Payment can be made either using a major credit card as Visa, Mastercard, and American Express Credit Card, not including credit card transaction fee ( Please add in 3% fee for Visa, Mastercard or 4% for American Express to the total amount of payment each time).
- If you wish to pay us online on our secure server, please click here and fill in the form.
- After receiving your payment, we will issue you the hotel voucher and/or final confirmation itinerary, which can be sent to you by fax or e-mail.

Cancellations timeline will be charged as follows:
- 60 days prior to the arrival date: Non Refundable deposit charge and the cancellation fees applied by the concerned services suppliers such as flight company, boat company, train, hotels… in accordance with their cancellations policies if any.
- 59 – 31 days prior to arrival date: Cancellations fee of 30% per group/booking and plus the cancellation fees applied by the concerned services suppliers such as flight company, boat company, train, hotels… in accordance with their cancellations policies if any.
- 30 days – 15 days prior to arrival date: Cancellations fee of 50% per group/booking plus the cancellation fees applied by the concerned services suppliers such as flight company, boat company, train, hotels… in accordance with their cancellations policies if any.
- 14 – 7 days before arrival: Cancellations fee 70% charge plus the cancellation fees applied by the concerned services suppliers such as flight company, boat company, train, hotels… in accordance with their cancellations policies if any.
- Less than 7 days before arrival Or No show: 100 % charge per group/booking.
*** Nonrefundable deposit and banking service fee will be forfeited in all cancellation cases.
4. Refund of Unused Services
No refund will be given for any unused service after the trip has commenced.
5. Liability
VIET GREEN TRAVEL is not responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by passengers. Additional expenses incurred due to delays, accidents, natural disaster, political actions, and unrest must be borne by the passengers. Passengers are required to have full travel insurance.
Airline schedules and local conditions may affect accommodation and itineraries. Should this occur, VIET GREEN TRAVEL will endeavor to substitute a suitable arrangement of similar value. Participation on any tours implies full agreement to the above conditions by all parties involved.
6. Passport and Entry Visa
Your passport must be valid for at least six months following your entry date to your travel destination.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of a valid passport and visa and all travel documents are valid for travel.
7. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included in your tour price. It is the passenger’s responsibility to verify whether his/her local health insurance carrier provides coverage while traveling. Please contact your insurance carrier for details.
VIET GREEN TRAVEL strongly advises that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy to cover all aspects of your tour: the loss of deposits through cancellation lost of baggage and personal items, personal injury and death. A waiver must be signed if insurance is declined.
